What do you want? Oh, I guess you're reading this to find out who I am? Well lemme tell ya right now, you're not gonna know shit until you actually talk to me. But for starters, I guess you should know my name--Jathora. But that's all I'll say.

Catching Elephant is a theme by Andy Taylor
(Casually strolling down through the back lanes, Roxy pauses. She’d been warned time and time again, don’t go off on your own.
But Elkie was off being all gross and lovey dovey with Kito, so she figured she might as well.
Eh no matter, she was fine wasn’t she? And she was the leader, so she shouldn’t need to take any order from no one. Not even Spring.
Smelling the familiar burning scent of a portal, she glances round to see, much to her surprise a figure standing in the road.
If she wasn’t dangerous, fair enough, if she was…
She’d show that Spring that she could take down one on her own.)
“…”
The trees. They were so short…like ones closer in to the cities and villages. But alas, none lay before her or anywhere around the plot of land. The taller ones had been where the witchdoctor had opened the portal for them, for a not so hefty price—which lead Jathora to mull over whether it was them being separated or the portal being of low quality having flung the trio apart:
“O-oh dear, oh my…are you sure this is safe?” The timid little dark-haired medic clung to her own bag as she gazed at the swirling pit, looking to her friends in deep worry. Jathora grinned in determination.
“Quit worrying! We won’t get hurt or in any trouble if we act safe about this and the authorities don’t find out about it.”
The native (or otherwise the muscle of the group) pat the medic’s shoulder and spoke softly, as if reassuring a young one.
“If we weren’t this low on funds we’d probably use the public one, Elloise, but this is the only way we can get to the next country without losing time. It’s not something we have much of with Jathora’s sister about…”
“Oh…I suppose you’re right…”
“So let’s go. Take someone’s hand and let’s all go in on three, okay?”
The vortex sparked.
“One, two…”
”..,three!”
What was that?
Jathora was torn from her memory as she heard—no, felt—someone nearby. She couldn’t tell who, or what, but she didn’t like already that she didn’t know where they were. Did she have any energy left from that trip? The sorceress could only hope so as she went further on, but with slowed and careful steps.
“Hello? Is anyone out there? I don’t want any trouble…” Well, that would depend if whoever was out there was out to hurt her. But in all truth, the last she’d want was to run into a terrible beast. Alone.
(Ah, that’s the smell of magic right there, though it was foreign. Clicking the small V badge Spring had given her, the girls clothes become that of a slightly worn and not terribly well made superhero outfit. It was a little big on her skinny frame and the crimson ribbons making up her coat tails were a little worn.
It was the best she could do, and Roxy was detirmed to look the role.)
“You don’t want any trouble? Good, then just head riiiiight back the way you came kid.”
(The height difference should be slightly laughable.)
…
Oh, it was just a kid. Jathora instantly went from blank-faced to a bright smile, which formed effortlessly into a laugh as she pat the other on the head.
“Ahah! That’s cute, really cute! But if you’re not gonna tell me which way’s what or where I am, I’m gonna have to go on ahead anyway. You know, for…location-type things. So so long, I guess!” She started to walk by with a half smile, assuring herself as sure as she’d follow the path she’d get to a town, or somewhere.
